Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, registering for the Global Impact Summit & Awards ("GISA"), or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

GISA is organized and curated by Entrepreneur's Diaries, a global business and leadership media platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Entrepreneur's Diaries.

Eligibility

To participate in the Global Impact Summit & Awards, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Be a founder, entrepreneur, CXO, senior leader, professional, consultant, or social impact leader

By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements and that all information you provide is truthful and accurate.

Nomination and Selection Process

The Global Impact Awards follows a rigorous, merit-based selection process:

• Our internal research team reviews all expressions of interest and nominations
• Shortlisted candidates are selected based on their professional achievements, impact, and leadership
• Final selection is made by our independent jury panel
• Being shortlisted does not guarantee an award until participation is confirmed and all requirements are fulfilled

We reserve the right to accept or decline any nomination or application at our sole discretion without providing reasons.

Participation Fees and Payment

Participation in the Global Impact Summit & Awards requires payment of applicable fees, which cover:

• Editorial review and documentation process
• Award ceremony participation and recognition
• Media coverage, PR distribution, and editorial features
• Hospitality inclusions as specified in your selected package
• Print publication and digital features

Payment Terms

• All fees must be paid in full to confirm your participation
• Prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified
• Payment instructions will be provided upon confirmation of your shortlisting
• Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of payment

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by Participant

• 60+ days before event: 70% refund of participation fee
• 30 to 59 days before event: 50% refund of participation fee
• 15 to 29 days before event: 25% refund of participation fee
• Less than 15 days before event: No refund

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to our support team.

Cancellation by Organizers

In the unlikely event that we cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), participants will be offered:

• Full credit toward the next edition of the Global Impact Summit & Awards, OR
• A partial refund minus administrative and non-recoverable costs

Postponement

If the event is postponed, your participation and all inclusions will be automatically transferred to the new dates. Refunds will not be provided for postponements.

Event Participation

Attendance

Confirmed participants are expected to attend the summit and awards ceremony as scheduled. If you are unable to attend in person, please notify us at least 14 days in advance to discuss alternative arrangements.

Code of Conduct

All participants agree to:

• Conduct themselves professionally and respectfully throughout the event
• Refrain from any behavior that is disruptive, offensive, or harmful to other participants
• Comply with all venue rules and local laws
• Not engage in any unauthorized commercial activities during the event

We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates this code of conduct without refund.

Dress Code

The awards ceremony is a formal event. Business formal or traditional formal attire is required for the Awards Gala evening.

Media Rights and Publicity

By participating in GISA, you grant Entrepreneur's Diaries and its affiliates the right to:

• Photograph and record you during the event
• Use your name, likeness, photographs, video recordings, and professional information for promotional, editorial, and media purposes
• Publish your profile, achievements, and award recognition in Entrepreneur's Diaries Magazine (print and digital)
• Distribute your story through our PR network and partner publications
• Feature your content on our social media channels and website

This grant is perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, and irrevocable. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished content.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Entrepreneur's Diaries and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization
• Create derivative works based on our content
• Use any automated systems to access or scrape our website

Participants retain ownership of their own intellectual property but grant us a license to use submitted materials for event-related purposes.

Accommodation and Travel

Complimentary accommodation (where included in your package) is subject to the following terms:

• Accommodation is provided at the designated partner hotel only
• Check-in and check-out dates are fixed based on the event schedule
• Additional nights or room upgrades are available at the participant's expense
• Accommodation is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash

Travel Arrangements

Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements, including:

• Flight bookings and transportation to the venue
• Visa applications and travel documentation
• Travel insurance (strongly recommended)

We are not liable for any travel disruptions, cancellations, or additional costs arising from travel arrangements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• GISA and Entrepreneur's Diaries shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for participation
• We are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the event
• We are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or health issues that occur during the event

Participants attend and participate at their own risk and are encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance coverage.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Entrepreneur's Diaries, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your participation in the event
• Any content or information you provide
• Your infringement of any third-party rights

Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

• Our website or services will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The results obtained from using our services will be accurate or reliable
• Any specific outcomes or benefits will result from your participation

Any reliance on our services is at your own risk.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Entrepreneur's Diaries is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your participation shall be resolved through:

• Negotiation: Parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes amicably
• Mediation: If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to mediation
• Arbitration: Unresolved disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration

You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against us.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other agreements referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Entrepreneur's Diaries regarding your participation in the Global Impact Summit & Awards.

These Terms supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings, whether written or oral.
